Overview
JuanWorks is a Philippine marketplace for local skilled services, designed and built by BINES for a local client. It connects trade workers with the households and businesses that need them: electricians, plumbers, aircon technicians, painters, cleaners, carpenters, masons and drivers.

Problem
Finding a tradesperson usually means asking around or calling numbers from social posts, with no easy way to check who you are letting into your home. Skilled workers, in turn, rely on word of mouth for their next job.
Users
JuanOwners: homeowners and small businesses who need a job done. JuanWorkers: skilled trade workers and service providers looking for work nearby.
Two account types Separate sign-up flows
Solution
Owners post a job for free and matched workers get in touch, so nobody has to ring around. Every JuanWorker submits a Philippine government ID and an NBI clearance certificate, which the JuanWorks team checks before a Verified badge appears. Owners can compare profiles, reviews, certificates and photos of previous work before hiring.
NBI clearances can be checked on the NBI portal
Status
Pre-launch began on 1 October 2026 with the people who make the platform work: the first phase onboards and verifies JuanWorkers across trades. JuanOwners can join the waitlist and will be told the moment hiring opens.
